Sunny View School in Torremolinos, Spain is a family owned British curriculum school founded in 1971.
Sunny View School is the leading British school on the Costa del Sol. We welcome students of all nationalities from 2 to 18 years of age. Our programmes of study are based on the National Curriculum for England and taught by a dynamic team of qualified, experienced and inspiring teaching staff. We aim to provide the best of British education to our students, with a strong emphasis on academic success. Through the school ethos, lessons and activities, our students learn for life. We encourage them to develop habits of curiosity, initiative, rigour, and independence of thought.

Our School
Sunny View School was the first school on the Costa del Sol to be unconditionally approved by the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS). We are fully authorised by the Spanish Ministry of Education and undergo regular inspections.
The school is located just outside Torremolinos, Málaga, on a spacious site which boasts fantastic views of the surrounding area. We have dedicated buildings for Preschool, Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form, as well as shared facilities including two libraries, a school hall and various playgrounds. Our sports facilities include a basketball and a volleyball court, a sports pitch, a gymnasium and swimming pool. We pride ourselves on the special atmosphere in our school, with a particular emphasis placed on courtesy, caring and self-discipline following our school rules: ready, respectful and responsible. The success of the school is evidenced by the examination results our students attain which are consistently well above the UK national average.

Established by the Pettis family in 1971, Sunny View School provides quality teaching and learning following the British approach to education. We place a strong emphasis on the academic success of our students and we aim to equip them with the skills and knowledge they will need to succeed in an ever-changing world. We seek to develop creative, imaginative and enquiring minds within a caring, safe, healthy, multicultural environment.

Children are admitted into the school based on the UK system, starting from two years of age.
New students may be asked to take a placement test and we also ask for a copy of the student’s latest school report.
